Sultans tent

 Hi Gents

Received this tent yesterday from Mark Allen the two banners in the first pic are also by Mark who has produced an array of flags to adorn my Ottomans once again delighted by how this is taking shape.
The tent is from Grand Manor

Big drum by Phil Olley

These figures painted by Dave Jarvis as was the flag in this pic.

I can also use this tent for my Romans

Huge amount of lead arriving next week  to be sorted and forwarded to the painters.

Best wishes

Malta Harbour

 Hi Gents,

I was asked recently if my Malta 1565 collection was still being added to the answer was yes so I thought I would take a few shots to remind me where this is going.

Some of the fleet arrive at Malta

I have a fleet of ships and small boats that will be used for this collection
Change of period for this but again I think it will work well for Malta.
Harbour tower

I need to tidy the ships up a little bit.
A couple of minor conversions on games workshop figures

Service continues.

A shot of a small boat

Troops disembark

All painted by Dave Jarvis

The figures are from various manufacturers

A birds eye view

Front figure is my favourite from this batch
That's all for now thanks for stopping by.

Ottomans v Cossacks

Hi Gents
Still really busy on the work front but came home tonight and took a few pics to unwind. The Ottomans are part of a collection that I am doing for the siege of Malta but I am going to extend them to cover the Siege of Azov campaign and wars against Peter the Great of Russia that's the great thing about Ottomans they span many century's with only minor changes in dress.

Ottoman Sultan
Ukrainian Cossacks

More fine work by Dave Jarvis

I mixed in a few Perry Turkcomans

I finished basing these last night still have a mountain of figures to do though
These figures are part of a collection bought fro Phil Olley a number of years ago

Still hundreds of these to be painted

More of the Cossacks.

Malta 1565 Marauders

Hi Gents,
A few pics below showing some unpainted additions to this collection.

Brother Vinnie Marauders

I wasn't sure how these would mix but once painted they will be just fine

Plenty of character  with these figures

Another pic showing the size

I have been busy on the collecting front for this collection

Also been doing a few conversions

This one started out as a Perry retreat from Moscow figure

Be interested in how it paints up

A couple of drummer conversions in the centre

I am going to finish the bases over the Christmas break

First Tercio beginning to take shape
